This
school resource is part of the 110th anniversary commemorations of the
granting of the right to vote to New Zealand women. The Landmarks
Project Trust developed the Landmarks and the Trail of Light to
celebrate achievements for and by New Zealand women. That material is
reproduced in this resource by kind permission of the Landmarks Project
- Celebrating Women Trust and the author Barbara Mabbett.
A memorial to the part that
women have played in the social, economic, cultural, and spiritual
development of New Zealand can be visited at the Wellington Cathedral
of St Paul, Molesworth Street.
